As President of the Black Student Union, I had the honor of organizing Ebony Night, a annual event that celebrated Black excellence and creativity. Ebony Night was a night to remember, marking our return to in-person events after a long hiatus due to COVID-19. This was the first Ebony Night in over 5 years. The evening was filled with excitement and elegance as we welcomed over 150 attendees to join us in celebrating the achievements of Black artists, activists, and leaders. The highlight of the night was our award ceremony, where we recognized individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to our community. In addition to the awards ceremony, Ebony Night featured food, live performances, and a vibrant atmosphere that brought everyone together in a spirit of unity and celebration.

I had the privilege of working behind the scenes at the Sea Hear Now music festival, an event that celebrates the power of music and the beauty of inclusion. As part of the production team, I was involved in coordinating various aspects of the festival, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and efficiently. One of the highlights of my experience was working on ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) accommodations to ensure that all attendees, regardless of their abilities, could fully enjoy the festival. This involved coordinating accessible seating, parking, and facilities, as well as providing assistance and support to attendees with disabilities. In addition to my work in ADA, I was also involved in the production of the festival, helping to set up stages, coordinate artists and crew, and ensure that all technical aspects of the event were executed flawlessly. It was a challenging yet incredibly rewarding experience, and I am proud to have been a part of such a meaningful event.
